You can still use the regular method. The advanced duplicate image removal method is now deprecated. You can still use the features on the main screen. You can also get rid of OpenCV if you're not using the Advanced Duplicate Image Removal method.

WhatsApp Duplicate Media Remover, removes the duplicate media produced due to sharing files on WhatsApp. It detects duplicates within and outside the WhatsApp folders and deletes them at your will.

Duplicate images deletion is however not accurate due to compression methods used by WhatsApp, still working on that.

HOW TO USE THE ADVANCED DUPLICATE IMAGE REMOVAL MODE:

*Download the OpenCV Manager via the app.

*Click the Advanced Duplicate Image Removal button and carry on with your life.

*Once the app has detected all the duplicates, it'll notify you.

*Please try to keep your screen on while the application is running, the progress will be displayed on the notification bar.

How to use the app:

*Check the media types you want to remove duplicates of.

*On completion of analysis, the app will show you a list of images if you have selected duplicate image remover.

*Found duplicates are already selected.
